Always keen to help promote Liverpool’s Year of the Environment which appears to be akin to buses; nothing for weeks then three come along all at once!
Thursday May 7th is Green Business Day for Liverpool.
For those interested there are a number of environmentally themed events running with something of a log jam in the evening!
For early risers there is Green Breakfast (not the best name but I didn’t choose it!) starting at 8.00am at Mocha Lounge on Sir Thomas Street (best coffee in Liverpool!) for a couple of official type speeches and a networking opportunity.
Next up from 10.00am is the Green Business Day proper with a selection of local green and ethical businesses exhibiting and promoting their products and services at Liverpool ONE’s Chavasse Park (contact firstname.lastname@example.org to book a FREE stand or for further information)…
…and from the dessert trolley we have a number of early evening options:

Apologies for the evening triple booking headache but that’s about par for this course.
The official LYOE website has been updated!! If you go to www.ourcityourplanet.org.uk you can now register for updates, make a green pledge and sign up as a Green Ambassador! Unfortunately there is no mention of the Green Business Day event at Chavasse Park so you’ll have to take my word for it happening. Scouts honour!
